The meeting will be held on 18-22 February 2019, at the IMO headquarters in London.
Agenda:
- BWM; Methodology for indicative monitoring will be addressed
- Black Carbon; Control measures will be addressed
- 2020 Low Sulphur fuel work; Comprehensive package will be addressed, including implementation plan, fuel testing, sampling points, PSC guidelines
- Scrubber guidelines; In addition to malfunction and spare parts, washwater discharge will also be addressed
- Arctic HFO ban; At this stage, the focus will be assessment of the impact to the Arctic community
- IBTS Guidelines; Definition of the tank, clean drain and evaporation will be addressed
- Sewage treatment: Questions on the current regulations in MARPOL Annex IV on in-service compliance will be addresse
