Atlantic Ocean – seismic surveys authorized
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a news release stating that authorizations have been issued to companies proposing to conduct seismic geophysical surveys in support of hydrocarbon exploration in the Atlantic Ocean that might incidentally, but not intentionally, harass marine mammals.
