DHS – GPS best practices guide

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) posted a Best Practices Guide entitled "Improving the Operation and Development of Global Positioning System (GPS) Equipment Used by Critical Infrastructure". It is intended to provide stakeholders with information to improve the security and resilience of positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) equipment across the spectrum of equipment development, deployment, and use. USCG – Polar Code & MARPOL reminder

IMO – regional emissions trading systems

The IMO issued a news release stating that Secretary-General Kitack Lim has written to senior European officials expressing his concern that including shipping in the European Union's Emission Trading System (EU-ETS) could undermine efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from shipping on a global basis.
