Gulf of Alaska – rescuing the rescuers
clip_image004[2] The US Coast Guard issued a news release stating that a commercial tug is towing the USCGC Spar back to Kodiak after it became disabled while responding to the disabled and adrift fishing vessel Lady Gudny in the Gulf of Alaska in inclement weather. As Spar took Lady Gudny in tow, the line separated and entangled in Spar's propellers. The four persons on Lady Gudny were airlifted to Kodiak. California – marine invasive species reporting requirements
