DOS – meeting re implementation of IMO instruments

The Department of State (DOS) issued a notice stating that a meeting will be held on 14 July in Washington, DC to prepare for the upcoming session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Implementation of IMO Instruments (III 3). Topics on the agenda include: consideration of reports on alleged inadequacy of port reception facilities; lessons learned from marine safety investigation reports; and measures to harmonize port state control (PSC) activities and procedures. 81 Fed.
