BOEM – Chukchi Sea Exploration Plan

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) issued a press release [located at http://www.boem.gov/press04102015/] stating that it has received from Shell Gulf of Mexico, Inc. a revised multi-year Exploration Plan for proposed exploratory drilling in shallow waters of the Chukchi Sea outer continental shelf (OCS). BOEM has begun preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA) of the proposal. Comments on any issues that BOEM should consider in preparing the EA must be received by 20 April.
