"The Danish captain on the product tanker Nord Butterfly is presently hospitalized in the Brazilian city of Salvador. He is treated after being hit by a gunshot, while he and a collegue from the ship were waiting for a taxi on a street in Salvador. The shot hit him in the chest, but luckily the bullet did not hit any vital organs. The shot came from a group of robbers. “Under the circumstances the captain’s condition is good and he is in a private hospital”, says Hans Bøving, head of communications at D/S Norden.
