The Regional Cooperation Agreement on Combating Piracy and Armed Robbery against Ships in Asia (ReCAAP) issued its Annual Report for 2008. The report shows that there has been a decrease in the total number of incidents of piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia in 2008 compared to the previous four years (2004-2007).
