USCG & USN – heavy polar icebreaker RFP

The US Coast Guard issued a bulletin announcing that the US Navy, in collaboration with the Coast Guard under an integrated program office, released a request for proposals (RFP) for the advance procurement and detail design for the Coast Guard's heavy polar icebreaker, with options for detail design and construction for up to three heavy polar icebreakers. USCG – Area Contingency Planning survey

The US Coast Guard issued a Marine Safety Information Bulletin (MSIB) announcing that the National Response Team (NRT) is seeking feedback through an online survey regarding the current state and future direction of area contingency planning nationwide. India – adequacy of port reception facilities

The Indian Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) issued a notice establishing a standard procedure for assessment of adequacy of a port reception facility. Indian ports will be audited annually.
