USCG – fifth application received for BWMS type approval

The US Coast Guard issued a bulletin stating that it has received its fifth application for ballast water management system (BWMS) type approval. This application for the Ecochlor Ballast Water Treatment System manufactured by Ecochlor, Inc. Thus far, three BWMS have received type approval and two are undergoing review.
