House – bill introduced re Ambassador at Large for Arctic Affairs
Representative Sensenbrenner (R-WI) introduced the United States Ambassador at Large for Arctic Affairs Act of 2017 (H.R. 1559) to amend the State Department Basic Authorities Act of 1956 to establish a United States Ambassador at Large for Arctic Affairs, and for other purposes. Somalia – dhow hijacked
The UK Maritime Trade Operations (MTO) issued a bulletin stating that a small vessel (assessed as a Dhow) has been hijacked in the vicinity of EYL, SOMALIA. Some crew have been put ashore and the vessel is now proceeding to sea; course, speed and destination unknown. Vessels are advised to exercise extreme caution.
