USCG – search for cruise ship passenger
The US Coast Guard issued a news release stating that a search is underway for a passenger missing from a cruise ship in waters 33 miles northwest of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. Due to the proximity of the incident to Cuban territorial waters, Cuban search and rescue authorities have launched assets to assist in the search efforts. USCG – Arctic Coast Guard Forum meeting
The US Coast Guard issued a news release stating that it is hosting an eight-nation Arctic Coast Guard Forum Principals Meeting on 22-24 March in Boston. During the meeting, the principals will sign a joint statement to adopt doctrine, tactics, procedures, and information sharing protocols for emergency response and combined operations in the Arctic.
