USN – New Zealand earthquake response assistance

The US Navy issued a news release stating that the destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102), with its embarked helicopters, is being deployed to New Zealand to assist in the response to the recent earthquake that that struck the South Island. DHS – securing the Internet of Things

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a news release announcing strategic principles for securing the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT involves equipment and technology that is tied together such that computer malware inserted into one device may adversely impact other devices.
