DOI – DWH oil spill restoration plan

The Department of the Interior (DOI) issued a notice stating that a draft Phase V Early Restoration Plan and Environmental Assessment has been prepared. A public meeting to consider comments will be held in Panama City, Florida on 14 December. Written comments must be received by 31 December. 80 Fed. BSEE – well standards

The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) issued a press release [located at http://www.bsee.gov/BSEE-Newsroom/BSEE-News-Briefs/2015/Salerno-Op-Ed–Proposed-well-standards-bring-accountability-to-offshore-safety/] stating that proposed offshore oil and gas well standards are intended to bring accountability to offshore safety.
