CRS – Changes in the Arctic
The Congressional Research Service (CRS) issued a report entitled
“Changes in the Arctic: Background and Issues for Congress”. The report
focuses on the impact resulting from diminishment of Arctic sea ice and

New Zealand – interim report re RENA grounding
The New Zealand Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC)
released the interim report of its inquiry into the grounding of the
container ship RENA on Astrolabe Reef in the Bay of Plenty at 0214 on 5
October 2011. The interim report sets out verified facts to date, but
